MCO Education Fund

Over the past years, MCO has educated over 80 students through Basic Cycle schools, 20 through high Schools, 20 through university and college.

20 still on the path of higher education, 50 still in high school and 100 still on the path of Basic education, total of  290 students.

These students are sponsored on merit and from extremely poor background. 

We are calling out for assistance on this programme in order to send more students to school because through education, poverty is reduced thus offering options and opportunities to prosper.

SUKUTA MUNDU A WOMEN ASSOCIATION  IN THE GAMBIA WAS SUPPORTED WITH EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS BY MCO

On the 27th December 2014, MCO has donated Educational materials to SUKUTA MUNDU – a Women’s Association based in Kitty one (1) to support underprivileged and disadvantaged children in their community.

A total of 150 packets of exercises books, School bags, a box of pencils, a box of pens and a box of Erasers were handed over to the president of Sukuta Mundu by the president of MCO.

In her welcome address, Mrs. Anna B Gomez, the president of Sukuta Mundu, expressed delight and appreciation to the president of MCO, Mr. Matthew Gomez, for bringing these materials to the community, she further promised that these materials will be used for their intended purpose and will be put into good use. She expressed the belief that these donated items will go a long way to impact on the lives of the poor students in the community.

Mr. Matthew Gomez, president of MCO, on his part, expressed happiness on in having the opportunity for his organization to help underprivileged students in the community. He particularly expressed his delight in the appreciation registered by the president of Sukuta Mundu for receiving the items and the impact it will have on the lives of students in the community.
In her vote of thanks, Eli N Mendy a beneficiary student thanked MCO for their fore sight in complementing government’s efforts in providing quality education for all. She further went on to promise that all the donated items will be put into good use.
