We have a vibrant team of diligent and dedicated volunteers. Everyone is a 100% volunteer and none of our team members receives any pay. Therefore, all donated items and funds are used for humanitarian purposes and help Gambia student’s to stay in school, allowing 100% of donations to go directly to students. Volunteering is someone spending time, unpaid, doing something that aims to benefit the environment or someone who they’re not closely related to. Volunteering must be a choice freely made by each individual.
We strongly believe that volunteering is a grate fundamental sign of solidarity. Together we can mobilise resources and potentials to make a huge difference on the lives of many in The Gambia.

His name is Matthew Gomez and he’s an extraordinary person who loves to help children. I am motivated in his beautiful work and currently working as oversea volunteer with GAMCO, a Gambian registered charity supporting the disadvantaged and underprivileged in The Gambia. I send greetings to everyone from Poland. Joanna.
Louie JSP Gomez (GAMCO volunteer)Pastoring/Shepherding skills since 1987 to date. I love and enjoy people; relate well to a variety of different people in a sincere and humble way; a servant-leader who leads by his own example; able to discern the particular needs of individuals in the flock and provide them with the requisite pastoral care; delegate pastoral care responsibilities among his fellow Elders and other gifted individuals within the congregation; and willing to warn, admonish, rebuke and correct as this becomes necessary for the MCO as a whole or for individual members who need these ministries. Support children and youth ministries with a vision to developing Godly families by encouraging and equipping those in the church with a gift and heart for these ministries; gifted at teaching believers to be learners from and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ in their relationships and daily lives. This includes teaching them how to love and study God’s word, to love one another, to pursue God’s will, and to bear fruit for the Lord Jesus Christ. He has a heart and gifting for personal and broader-scoped evangelism and outreach. I encourage, exhort, motivate, and lead MCO in reaching out with the gospel of Jesus Christ to the local community and to the world.
At MCO we strive to do our part in growing life-long Christians and view Christian Education as essential to this goal.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
—Colossians 3:16 (ESV)
